A wonderful evening!

We were invited to a party of forty, celebrating a family members birthday on a Sunday night. We drove 50kms, middle of winter, -25C, crunch under our feet from the fresh snow, the town was quiet and peaceful. The restaurant was inviting, cozy, and comfortable, not like super-cave restaurants where everyone freezes and the sound travel is deafening. The party room in back is a gas! I spotted the fireplace in the corner and said to my wife, "That's the best looking gas fireplace I have ever seen!"... Then a girl went over and threw another log on it!!... Where do you ever see that anymore?! The service was exceptional. Two very pleasant people, a young lady and gentlemen attended to all forty of us and our needs. They were busy, but very attentive. They continually made rounds, checking on all the clients. The food was wonderful. I don't know how anyone could not be impressed by the jagerschnitzel, fingerling potatoes and red cabbage, my dinner of choice. As well, my wife informed me the pork tenderloin was grand. For the cold winter evening it was, the atmosphere inside was so inviting. It was wonderful! Very old, like an Inn, yet still very casual. Still, I wouldn't wear jeans, just out of respect! We will be dining there again very soon.

Never Again !!!!

The Schnitzel (that they are so proud of) had hard pieces of grizzle in it. The potatoes and the vegetable were one notch up from hospital food. The prices are high and the food is horrible. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Food was awesome, service was awesome. Quite honestly one of the best meals I have eaten and the price was really reasonable. Absolutely the best value for the money I have had in a long time in a restaurant.

Can't ask for much better !

I have visited this restaurant on quite a few occasions, and have never been dissapointed yet. Food - A1 Service - A1 Ambiance - A1 Keep up the good tradition !

Discovered this place via this web-site. Tried it out on way home from Blue. Great place ! Good food. Schnitzel piping hot, crispy coating, good job. Service quick but not hustled; place was little over half full. Good atmosphere - not noisy or loud. Would surely return and bring other people. Meals plus wine less than $60.00. Entree and wine prices are not expensive. Hit the spot after a day on the slopes.

The service and the food was excellent. We can't wait to return. Wished they had a 'on-line' menu or website so we could rave to our friends. Live entertainment in the back un-used seating area would be great too.

Not sure what is with other report, we had an amazing dinner in the restaurant just a few days later. Yes the schnitzel is thin, as it should be, but the flavour is outstanding. The cabbage rolls are the best I have ever had. We have been to Germany and Austria and still the schnitzel in Creemore is better. Go figure. And the atmosphere in the Sovereign is great. It is housed in an old Hotel in Creemore very nice decor and very clean surroundings. Thanks for a enjoyable evening. A very satisfied customer.

Did not even get a chance to order, as we were looked up and down and apparantly we were not deemed undesirable by the owner and told he was full-as we could clearly see only 3 tables occupied we knew this to be untrue. Extremely unpleasant experience as this place was recommended by a staff member at another location in Creemore. We were in no way dressed inappropriately for this restaurant. Will never go back!!!

This has been my family's "go to" place since I...

This has been my family's "go to" place since I was a little kid. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable, the service is friendly and unpretentious and the food is casual and very very tasty! Without doubt the Sovereign has the best cabbage rolls and weiner schnitzel I've ever had! A great place for a special occassion or just a nice relaxing night out with family. Keep up the good work Bill!

Like previous people the food, the atmosphere...

Like previous people the food, the atmosphere, and the service are outstanding in this restaurant. Will definitely recommend it to friends when they are in the village. Had a very enjoyable evening. Went to a new restaurant for us, on New Years...

Went to a new restaurant for us, on New Years Day, had the best meal i have had in a long time. First time there, but definitely not the last. Love the place, Atmosphere, Food Quality, Quantity, and Service, second to none. Will definitely be back!

Decided to try this new to us restaurant out for...

Decided to try this new to us restaurant out for Valenetines Day, amazing food, great ambiance, fantastic service. A very enjoyable evening. The restaurant was extremely busy being the special day it was, but we had a memorable and very enjoyable meal. Will definitely tell friends about it and will be back soon. Well worth the drive to Creemore. The restaurant is not open for lunch but is open daily (I think) at 4:30. Reservations are suggested.

First time dining at this restaurant,the service...

First time dining at this restaurant,the service was excellent, I believe her name was Cindy, and she was very pleasant and extremely interested in seeing that we were enjoying our meal as we did tell her that it was our first time there. The food was excellent,children enjoyed their meals as well, food was hot and very tasty. We will be back again soon when we are up that way and hopefully Cindy will be there again to serve us as we will difinitely request her.

One of our favorite restaurants in the Georgian...

One of our favorite restaurants in the Georgian triangle, we try to get up to Creemore not only for the beer but for the GREAT food. We had another fantastic meal at the restaurant.
